Restore to factory settings without my forgotten password

Hello! If you try to power the iPad on while holding the home button it should boot into recovery mode, then using a computer you can restore it to factory settings. If you have find my ipad enabled you may run into issues if you dont' have access to the icloud account its logged into anymore, as apple devices are tied to this ID when that is enabled, and you wont be able to use it again without that. @aklyman58

Plug the device into the computer, then press and hold the power button and the home button together at the same time. Once the tablet resets, let go of the power button while continuing to hold down the home button.
