Hello @alibaba9704 , you could use the samsung recovery menu to reset your phone, but it will require your google account. Unfortunately if you have neither there is not much you can do, outside of hacky work arounds which I can't exactly condone, do you still have original proof of purchase for the phone? You may be able to reach out to samsung for help.
Hello @albert4771 ! Talking from personal experience, you CAN replace the battery in an SE 2020 without apple's help, but you'll be stuck with a warning message about a "non-genuine" battery, which will appear on first boot for about a month and then disappear afterwards! Of course, if this is a dealbreaker for you you might have to go through apple's own channels, unfortunately. Thanks!
Hi @themariocrafter , I've personally gotten mine to run off an official fast charger alone before, but it's quite unstable. If you're going to remove the battery anyway, why not spend ~£5 or so and just get a new battery?
Hello! Bit of a long shot, but I wonder if those contacts will be tied directly to the normal charger connections, you could try to measure them with a multimeter while the phone is on charge! @scottantho50551
Hi @johnw84195 ! This machine could easily run up to Ventura with the help of OpenCore Legacy Patcher, also, what were you thinking about upgrading? You could always try out how Ventura runs and then decide if any upgrades are needed! Thanks!
Hello! Are you able to get into the * # 0 * # test menu? If so, there's a script floating around somewhere that bypasses FRP lock. Please note that this is not intended for stolen phones, also they'd be IMEI blocked before you could even realize :P @kbm13656
Hello! Have you tried rubbing alcohol or another solvent? Acetone is also quite good for dissolving adhesives, but im not sure how this would react with the paint on the driver. @aleks26378
Hello @johngilbert9992! Have you already tried another battery? If the battery is failed it might explain why it won't power on without a charger, also, what % does the battery show up as when the camera is plugged in, if any? Thanks! :>
Hello! I don't think a physical solution is strictly necessary, although just removing the screen and having a look inside will often reveal telltale fingerprints or stamps from past repairs! 3uTools is also good for the parts matching side of things, it covers more things than the QuanLi copy even, if i'm not mistaken. Either way, definitely something to look at! @alirazaattar
Hello @therealtreezus ! I personally use the CE markings to distinguish the two, on the 2022 and later they've moved this to the frame of the phone, while on the 2020 it is on the back glass. Thanks!
