Water got into the tablet and when I opened it I saw that the usb c port was corroded. But when I tried to turn on the tablet without the circuit board, it didn't work. Can I even turn on the tablet without this circuit board?

Best option is to replace the charge port board.
Search online for GH82-22897A to find suppliers that suit you best.
Alternatively if you have the skills and the tools, replace the USB-C connector, if that is all that was damaged. Search online for 3722-004170 to find suppliers for it.
Here's a teardown video that will help for either option. The charge port board can be seen being removed at 4:17 minutes into the video.
