@gruby89192 it worked before you cleaned it? How did you clean it? Did you check to ensure you reconnected everything and that everything is in it's right place?

@oldturkey03 yep, was working.

Isopropanol and compressed air.

Yes, everything is connected.

@gruby89192 Start off with the easy things. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from your computer. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Remove the battery Now hold the power button depressed for about 30sec-1min. Reapply the AC power adapter and see if your computer does show any sign of life.

First you want to check your power supply. Make sure it has the proper voltages. Check to make sure connectors are not bend etc. After that, check the charging port. Clean it of any debris etc, use a few puffs of air to clean it out. Check the DC-in jack of your laptop. Make sure there is no corrosion, debris etc. that prevents it from working. If none of this works, get a ammeter and see if your laptop draws any amperage from the charger. After that, you need to check and see if your motherboard even gets power. For that of course, you need to open it up. Post Some good pictures of what you see. That way we can see what you see 기존 질문에 이미지 추가하기

Of course, it is also possible that this is a bad RAM module. Remove the RAM, clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Do it gentle so as to not destroy the module. Replace it and restart. If you have more than one module, remove it and just leave one connected.

1. Disconnetcting cord/battery does not help.

2. Power supply is working good and i've just cleaned it. I dont have ammeter. MB gets power, but for a second and its in some kind of bootloop.

3. It's not RAM, its sodered on MB.

Dude, did you even tried to read my post? Or its just copy-paste?

@gruby89192 no copy and paste just trying to figure out what happened. The momentary fan movement is a power issue but it usually comes from issues like your processor or the memory on the motherboard. We weren’t there nor can we see what has happened.

Did you disconnect the battery from the motherboard before you started any cleaning?

Here's the schematic for the motherboard that may help.

The Power On sequence chart is shown on p.3 and the test points on p.4 - p.5.

yes, any power was disconnected before cleaning. battery was removed.

i dont have anything to test it :<

@gruby89192

Unless you can see something that is obviously wrong, e.g. loose, broken, missing, burnt etc then without having a DMM (digital multimeter) to check if the voltage rails are all OK, I don't know.

You may have to contact a reputable, professional laptop repair service and ask how much they charge to fix it.

@jayeff nothing seems to be wrong, so i think that i will just need to buy another MB
