it's just the operating system showing 100% and keeping it that way in order to satisfy the user into thinking the battery is fully charged

@yared62377 try a reset and see if that changes anything. Check your battery settings in your settings. If all of that is okay, it is possible that this is either a bad battery (error on the battery control board) or the mainboard is having issues with the "Gas Gauge" which reports the batteries state of charge to the OS. This is not an intend of the OS to mislead the user of the battery status.
