Why is my phone battery dying so fast?

Check if the following features or settings are enabled and disable them unless you use them often and check battery performance.

a). Turn off WiFi and Bluetooth in the phone. If either of them are turned on and you don't use them that often during the day they are using power as they are constantly searching for new networks or BT devices unnecessarily

b). Enable the data saver setting to prevent apps downloading data or accessing the internet without you knowing. Go to Settings, > Connections > Data usage > Data saver.

If necessary to have internet access, you can control which apps can have access to unrestricted data usage, tap Allowed to use data while Data saver is on, and tap next to each app to specify restrictions.
