I have identified the issue, the shutter release magnet doesn't release the shutter so it stays open after I press the shutter release button. I have cleaned the magnet and its contacts with alcohol but to no avail, so I would like to replace the magnet but I can't find any online. I live in the Netherlands.

I don't know the camera but here's the parts list for the camera that may help.
Scroll through the list to find the required part and its part number, then search online for Canon (insert part number) to hopefully find suppliers for it.

You may find just cleaning the magnet and bar surfaces can fix things as oils and even bit of dirt can mess it up.
