I have changed the Touch ID/Power Button on my iPad Air 4. Once I turned on the iPad, it booted normally to the lock screen. When I went to settings->battery, it shows me 1%, and after and during charging, it shows 0% remaining.

This sounds like there may have been some funny business with battery connector. It’s common during iPad repairs due to the way the connector works.
