The back light comes on but shows nothing on display. I’ve tried different HDMI cables in different ports using different laptops.
It was working fine, then made a pop noise and stopped. When I try to use it, it makes a loud noise of a short while then stops.

A loud pop sound is usually indicative of component failure.
Here's the ifixit LG 25UM58-P Teardown guide that may help.
Use it to disassmble the monitor so that you can check the mainboard for any damage.
If there is or you're not sure, post some close up images of the board back here to get further advice.
