@stevene74440 could be an issue with the collector rings.

There are might just be some debris, i.e. corrosion, loose solder joints etc that could cause this. I would suggest you start looking at this. Since we do not see what you see, and going by your description alone, I suggest you take the top of the carousel and check things out. I am sure there are different variants of the Carousel but check this video to work on it. Time to fix this quickly. Santa is getting ready!
