Only powers on when plugged in

The deck shows no sign of life when not plugged in. Will not go to bios. Will not make any sound. Does not show any lights. As soon as I plug it in everything works as it should. Problem began when I traveled to NC but I have a kill switch case and it was secured in a bag so idk if that has anything to do with it.
