The console will turn on verifying that the battery works post change, I swapped the port with a known working one. I'm guessing this is a fuse issue but I don't know the location of it to check.

@kienangrice could be the charging fuse or any other component in the charging circuitry. Take a couple of well focused pictures of your circuit board. Post those with your Question. That way we can see what you see and hopefully guide you further. You also want to measure the charge connector when you have the charger connected. Make sure that the voltage corresponds with the charger. Then measure the voltage on the battery and see if that corresponds to the charger. If it does not, you know teh issue is within the charging circuit.
