DVI does not accommodate audio signals of any kind. It is used for digital video signals only. DVI=Digital Visual Interface.
What is the model number of the Sanyo TV?
What is the make and model number of the signal source that you are using to try and connect video and audio signals from to the TV e.g. game console, computer, cable box etc?
If the TV and the signal source device both have HDMI connections, Component video (blue & red & green video cable + red & white audio cable) connections or Composite video (yellow video cable + red & white audio cable) connections, you can use any one of these connection types to have both video and audio from the signal source to the TV.
