I have change the motherboard, battery works, it chimes at start but only gives black screen in the internal display and external monitor, is the motherboard faulty or is something else ?

What did the original logic board show you? I would double check to see if that is also failing in the same way. Maybe you have a different problem.
Are you sure the external display connection is good? If that’s the case then it’s likely you have a bad logic board.
