Hi all,
I have to change the battery of a Honor View 10 Lite, but can't find a lot of information about it. The phone settings report JSN-L21 as model, and this is usually associated with Huawei 8X. Does anyone know if I can use a battery for a Huawei 8X or the OEM part number for a Honor View 10 Lite battery?

@dinoo_fixit the battery for your Huawei should be a HB396286ECW. I would not be to concerned about the numbers that pop in your settings report. If nothing else, wait until you open your phone up to replace the battery. Then you can verify the model number from the old one. That way you know for sure and can't go wrong with it.

I don't know, also because there are both Honor View 10 and Honor View 10 Lite and there seem to be differences... As the back case is glued, if I disassemble it with a heat gun, then can I reassemble it with new adhesive and keep the old battery? So that I can find a spare once i have a PN
@dinoo_fixit yes you can do that but why not just keep it open until you have the new battery?

@dinoo_fixit Ah yes, that changes things. You will either take a chance and get the battery ahead of the time or disassemble your back twice. IF it would be my phone, I'd take a chance with the battery number since I am pretty confident about the part number.
