I need help with an issue.

Hello!

I would like to know if anybody knows how to solve the following issue with the Playstation 1.

My console is the Playstation 1 fat model SCPH-7501 and the issue with it is, when I turn it on a put different games to play the optical eye doesn't move from its place or read any game discs. What is the solution to this issue?

Most likely a faulty optical disc drive consoles with disc drives tend to last so long before going bad to where the optical drive won’t read the disc
