mi 13 Lite
I had problems with the main camera, it kept randomly focusing and crashing on any app, so i decided to change the module, bought one, but the phone didn' t even recognize it, every app just used the ultrawide as default, the main camera app opens with the front facing camera as the primary. I even bought another module from another seller but it gave me the same problem, is there anything i can do?

Best option then is to backup the phone to the cloud or a computer first and then factory reset it, to prove whether it is a software or a hardware problem.
If it works OK after a factory reset, restore the phone using the backup you made earlier and then check it again. It it still works OK then the reset has resolved the problem.
If it still fails after performing a factory reset then it's a hardware problem.
I realize that you have replaced the camera module so that wasn't it but that doesn't mean that there's not a problem elsewhere on the systemboard.
If there's a Google account associated with the phone you need to know the user ID and password for the account so that you can setup the phone again after a factory reset. This is because the FRP lock (factory reset protection) has been enabled by doing a factory reset.

@alexim what exact model is your Xiaomi? Have you tried a factory reset?

@oldturkey03 It's a mi 13 Lite, i still haven't tried to factory reset, going to do that as a last resort after trying everything else.

Have you tried safe mode, have you tried clearing the app cache or app data etc?

@alexim You could try a soft reset
Press volume up and power button at the same time and then once the power menu is open press the button that looks like an incomplete circle with an arrow

@jayeff I have tried both safe mode and deleting every app cache and data, every other app that uses the camera just defaults to the ultrawide.
