How do I bypass a pattern lock on a Nokia G100 to reset my phone

@derekbrigg67015 normally you would recover it by doing a factory reset. Here is the bad news, this phone has an issue with a common factory reset. It does not have a recovery mode. This may be one of the rare cases where only Nokia can help you out.

I would also check on some of the better GSM forums (XDA forums comes to mind)and see if anybody has any ideas. Something like this (you are doing this on your own risk. Don't blame us if it does not work etc.;-)

Once it is on the "bootloader" screen

use Minimal adb Fastboot in Windows and type commands:

fastboot erase carrier

fastboot erase user_data -f

fastboot erase userdata -f

fastboot erase cache

fastboot format a_b -f

fastboot -w

fastboot reboot

The only thing I found online is that there is some software out that "promises" to work. Can't link to it since I do not know the software nor do I believe everything I read :-) Software is called DroidKit

I did this with a straight talk version not long ago and was going to do a video (not usually my thing) but I was so sick of it when I finally finished that I never did! I have always been able to dig up a method within a whole days time but I have never ran into an android phone that had all the options except recovery! What makes it worse is how many folks have other carrier versions with pics and videos and comments answering my questions and kinda basically treating like a dumb ass! Yeah this sob took me about 2 weeks to erase and remove frp. Anyway I just acquired another free locked g100 so I’m hoping whenever I get back on unlocking it today that I’ll either have the reprogram or it will just all come back to me. I’m 100% sure tho there were no long commands in the end. I think it’s coming back to me how I may have done it. Don’t know if anyone here still needs a way but looking today looks no different across the internet from the way it did 5 months ago.
