whirlpool fridge and 2 weeks back it stopped cooling
Hi, need some help please. I have a whirlpool fridge and 2 weeks back it stopped cooling (both fridge and freezer stopped cooling). I tried resetting the fridge motherboard, cleaned off the coils but still it won’t start cooling. I noticed the compressor would start running and after a min or so will Stop. Can any done suggest if my compressor relay or capacitor has gone bad?

Been having this problem for a few years. Always goes out after a power surge. Light stay on, crisper light (degree light) goes out and fridge makes a weird quiet sound. But will not cool. I unplug it for 10 minutes or so and it comes back on. Been doing this for years. When it goes.... It's going to the dump. Our fix it guys in my area are incompetent.
