Why will my camera not stop saying "select USB" when no USB is plugged

My camera says "select USB" everytime I turn it on even though I don't have a USB cord plugged in. I've tried deleting all the images on the memory card and have also shut it down and restarted it, but it won't stop saying this.

Hi @alexknoke

Try a power refresh and check if it resolves the problem.

Turn off the camera and then remove the batteries from the camera.

Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds and then release it.

Reinsert the batteries, turn on the camera and check if it is now OK.

Hi @jayeff I just tried that and it didn’t seem to work. do you have any other suggestions?
