For some reason my charging port quit working today. I plugged it into my Xbox one a few hours ago and it worked fine. It seems to not register a cable at all, I tried the official cable and my other cable that worked before on my series S as well. Any tips?

First check the USB-C port for dust. Clean it as much as you can. Try with an tooth pick first. If that doesn't work, you can try with an flathead screw driver carefully! If that didn't solved it, then you need to replace it. Unfortunate you need to desolder the port from the motherboard.
