I opened the macbook one day and unplugged the screen connector and when i hooked it back up it showed the apple logo and then blacked out and sence then it hasn’t showed anything on the screen but the macbook still turns on

Why did you originally disconnect the display connector? Was your display having issues before you disconnected and reconnected the cable? Did you disconnect the battery before you disconnected the display connector? If not, it's possible some voltage may have been present that may have damaged the display when it was disconnected. Also, the display cables on this model are pretty fragile, so it might be worth inspecting them for damage. Does the device work with an external monitor? If so you know the issue is due to a problem with the display. Good luck!
