1 it says "error 162" The error still persists
I have the same problem, i tried changing keyboard to PS/2 port also changed the CMOS battery but the error still persists and when i press F1 to save changes nothing happens
Can i please get some assistance

When you replaced the cmos battery (with the power disconnected from the PSU) did you press and hold the desktop's power on button operated for 30 seconds after the old battery was removed and before inserting the new battery?
This is required to completely drain any residual power from the motherboard which may be still holding data (corrupted or otherwise) in BIOS.

Yes i did drain the power from the motherboard before installing the new battery
