Not holding a charge

It appears that model number 17070 is the charging base itself that fits several different models of Roombas rather than being the model of the vacuum itself.

I'm assuming you mean the robot won't hold a charge rather than saying that the charging base won't hold a charge, so we would need to know the model number of your vacuum itself in order to give you any more help.

At this point it sounds like you are probably in the market for a replacement battery and once we have the model number we should be able to tell you how to replace it.
