Hello guys. I would like to refresh my G4. Can i update my sound card? etc....
Please, could you tell me what i can boost on my mac.

Your options are somewhat limited but I would start by maxing memory. I would then look at a hard drive update. (larger and 7200 rpm) You can also see what software is starting when you turn on the unit and remove those from the list that don't need to run right away. I'm sure others will be along with other ideas. Good luck. Ralph

Use something like TechTool Pro to defragment the files and optimize the volume. There's really nothing more to do with what Ralph said. +
