I went to sleep today and my phone screen and everything else looks a different color when I got up

Have you tried adjusting the display mode or colour to see if resolved the problem, as you never mentioned it? Go to Settings → Display → Screen mode.
Just clarifying that you didn't physically sleep on your phone which may have caused some internal damage to the display?
