Background
The Acer Aspire 5552 is a laptop built for moderately fast performance at a low price. Originally selling for around 300 dollars at the time of release and performing at twice the processing power as other similarly priced laptops at the time, the Acer Aspire 5552 allowed customers to own a powerful laptop while on a budget.
The Acer Aspire 5552 comes with a 15.6 inch screen, 250GB of storage, and a dual layered DVD writer to help users back up files. The laptop runs on a 2.1GHz, dual core Athlon II X2 processor, so while it has more than enough power to handle day to day tasks, it will be unable to handle more complex tasks, such as 3D gaming.
Identification
To identify an Acer Aspire 5552, the Acer logo will be displayed on the bottom center frame of the monitor. It will have a 15.6 inch screen, 3 USB sockets, an ethernet socket, VGA and HDMI outputs, a single speaker on the top left of the lower frame, and the power button will be found above the keyboard, on the top left of the lower frame. There is no PC card slot. The Acer Aspire 5552 will also lack Bluetooth support, and any eSATA or FireWire ports.
