Background
The Beyerdynamic DT 290 is an over-ear closed-back headset. The headset is designed for broadcast and studio applications. The DT 290 has an almost identical sibling, the DT 280 headset, with only a single earcup, meant for single-ear monitoring.
The DT 290 comes as either 80 or 250 ohm variants.
