Background
The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro are over-ear closed-back professional headphones, released in 1985. The headphones comes in multiple nominal impedance variants fit for different applications, designed for professional, studio, and monitoring environments. Beyerdynamic has released multiple variants of the DT 770 headphones, including: Pro, Pro X, Studio, and Edition.
The DT 770 Pro features a bass-reflex system that brings the frequency response down to 5 Hz. The diaphragm and moving coil weight is approximately 20%, making the pulse characteristics similar to that of electrostatic headphones. The headphones comes in 32, 80, and 250 ohm variants, making it suitable to many different environments.
The DT 770 Pro has a fixed cord, terminating into a 3.5 mm stereo jack. The model has user-replaceable earpads and headband.
