How to make Dyson AM07 (more) useable!
Background and Identification
The AM07 is an oscillating tower fan manufactured by Dyson. This fan uses Dyson’s “Air Multiplier” technology, which creates a smooth—yet powerful—stream of air and eliminates the need for visible moving blades (they’re hidden away in the base). This bladeless design allows the fan to be safe and easy to clean; however, the AM07 is significantly more expensive than a traditional model.
The fan has 10 different airflow settings, an LED display, and a sleep timer, which are accessed via the included remote. The remote has a replaceable coin-cell battery and is slightly curved and magnetic so it can be stored on top of the fan. According to the product page, the AM07 uses about 10% less energy than the previous tower model, the AM02.
The AM07 stands at 40 inches tall (about the length of a baseball bat) and features a smooth, rounded design. The fan comes in the following color combinations: white/silver, black/nickel, iron blue, and iron/copper. You can identify the AM07 by finding the serial number on the bottom of the tower and using Dyson’s serial number lookup webpage.
