Background
The Pulse Pro smartphone was released alongside the Pulse and Pulse+. The Pulse line was the first to be released under the HMD brand name (previously Nokia), launching in April 2024, and on the shelf in May. The Pulse Pro is a mid-range smartphone equipped with a Unisoc T606 CPU running Android 14, as well as upgraded cameras, storage options, and faster charging than the two other phones in its line. HMD promises security updates quarterly for three years and two letter OS upgrades.
Identification
The Pulse Pro smartphone can be identified by model number TA-1588 or TA-1595, which are printed near the bottom of the back cover. You can also find the model number by navigating to Settings > About phone. The back cover has the HMD logo and camera bump, which has the text “50MP AI CAMERA” printed under the flash. The bottom of the phone has a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The left edge has the SIM tray, which has slots for two Nano SIM cards and a microSD card. The phone comes in three colors: Glacier Green, Twilight Purple, and Black Ocean.
