Background
The HP Envy Touchsmart is a 14" touchscreen notebook which is a part of HP's Envy notebook line. HP first introduced the Envy series in 2009 with the release of the Envy 13 and Envy 15.
The HP Envy TouchSmart is a medium sized Windows 8 notebook. It is not as thin as an average ultrabook; however, at a little less than an inch thick and weighing 4.7 pounds, it's not huge and heavy. It comes with a 32GB solid-state drive, a 500GB hard drive, and 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM with an available expansion slot.
