Background
The Magnavox MWD200F is a DVD/CD player that plays the most popular disc formats including DVD, DVD-R,/-RW, and CD-Rs. Magnavox (stylized as MAGNAVOX) is an American electronics company. Since 1974, Magnavox has been a subsidiary of Philips, a Dutch electronics corporation. Magnavox products include televisions, speakers, DVD players, and Blu-ray players, dehumidifiers, heaters, air conditioners, headphones, and batteries. The Magnavox MWD200F was first available in March 2005.
A DVD player is a device that plays DVDs produced under the DVD-ROM, DVD-Video, and DVD-Audio technical standards. Some DVD players, like the Magnavox MWD200F, will also play audio CDs.
The Magnavox MWD200F includes an S-video output for an improved picture and digital audio output for 5.1 surround sound capabilities. The DVD player includes a remote control that requires two AA batteries. The device includes operations such as Search, Slow Motion, and Frame Advance.
