The CF-31 Range of Toughbooks fall under the “Fully Ruggedized” catagorey of Rugged devices.
CF-31’s Range from Mk1 (2012) to Mk6 (2018) The Mk (mark) is identified by the first letter following CF-31 in the model number found on the bottom of the laptop, the Mk identifiers are;
Mk1 = CF-31(A, B, C, D, E, F, G, or H)
Mk2 = CF-31(J, K, M, N, P, Q, or R)
Mk3 = CF-31(S, U, or V)
Mk4 = CF-31(W, X, or Y)
Mk5 = CF-31(1, 2, 3, or 4)
Mk6= CF-31(6, 7, 8, or 9)
