Schildkraut Cup Warmer #288 Repair

We couldn't find documentation about this specific model of cup warmer or its manufacturer, but in general, cup warmers work by running electricity through a heating element to heat the bottom of a mug, keeping a beverage warm for long periods of time with the first cup warmer dating back to 1897.

This device is a small square with rounded off edges with white text saying "Cup Warmer". The one in this guide is a royal blue. There is a black switch at the front to turn on and off with a red LED indicator next to it. On top of the device there is a large black circle that heats up when the device is powered. On the bottom you will see several slits along with black rubber feet.

This device is so old that there is no (surviving) documentation for it available anywhere online. No information seems to exist online about Schildkraut either. The best we could find is an eBay listing for the product.
