The Shark Air Purifier was released in June 2021, and uses air microforce to deliver fast and quiet air purification. Using a HEPA filter to capture 99.98% of airborne particles, it additionally uses Clean Sense IQ to detect the air quality and auto adjust the fan speed. It can cover up to 500 square feet and should be used exclusively indoors. The MSRP is $179.99, but often times it is on sale for cheaper.

There are no current or past recalls for the HP102 and maintenance is needed around every 6-8 months for air filter cleaning or other general maintenance.

Its predecessors include the Shark NeverChange™ Air Purifier MAX , and the Shark® Air Purifier 3-in-1 with True HEPA.

It can be identified by its smaller size, and cylinder shape, and is only available in white. It's counterpart, the HP202, is both wider and taller, while only being available in black.

If you still have the box, the model number can be found in the upper right corner above the product's name. You can also find the model number on the outside on a silver sticker, which will also contain the serial number.
