Background
The Sony Handycam HDR-CX675 was released by Sony in December 2015. This camera is lightweight and small. It has features such as Optical Image Stabilization, balanced Optical Steadyshot with Intelligent Active Mode, Night Mode, and High Definition Recording. It also has quick focus and intelligent AF flash. A few reported issues include the lens becoming loose, the LCD screen not showing images, and problems with the auto-focus.
The 9.2 Megapixel Sony Handycam HDR-CX675 records in 1080p on a 3" LCD that rotates 270°. The camcorder features USB and HDMI ports with the cables included. It is approximately 12.7 ounces, 2.3 inches wide, and 2.6 inches in height. The camera includes additional features such as a built-in speaker, ability to take still photos while movie recording, USB charging, auto backlight compensation, Intelligent AUTO (iAUTO), time-lapse recording, dual video recording, and multi-camera control. The camera lens goes as wide as 26.8 mm, it has 5.1 ch surround sound, with a built-in microphone that captures wide and clear recordings. The camcorder has optical zooming capabilities up to 30x and digital zooming capabilities up to 350x. The aperture range is F1.8-F4.0.
Identification
You can identify your Sony Handycam HDR-CX675 by the model number printed in white on the side of the device. The model and serial number are on a label on the bottom of the device near the tripod mount as well.
