According to a review of the Synology DiskStation DS918+ by TechRadar, the NAS device has a wide range of configuration options and the Synology app ecosystem offers good solutions to set up the device. However, the Synology DiskStation DS918+ costs over $500, which makes it a pricey investment. Also, its 4K transcoding is sometimes inconsistent.
