Background
The TurtleBeach Ear Force P11 is a wired headset in the line of multi-channel headphones which can be used for different gaming consoles as well as PCs. The product is available in black with red colored earpads and in white with blue colored earpads.
The P11 is a two in one headset with a stereo USB headset for chatting and an amplified stereo headset for gaming purposes. The headset comes with a splitter cable to connect it to stereo outputs of the TV or PC being used. The device has an independent control unit to adjust the chat volume as and when needed. It can be used with both Windows and Mac OS and can also be connected to the PS4 platform after downloading the necessary PS4 System Software Update 1.50. The headset is also compatible with XBox.
A modified version of the P11 called the DP11 was released in 2012. This version combines the P11 with a Dolby Surround Sound Processor.
Identification
This model of the Turtle Beach headset can be identified by the name P11 at both the ends of the headband.
