Place the camera on its back with the lens facing up.
Firmly grip the lens assembly with one hand, and hold the camera with the other. Turn the lens assembly counterclockwise until it is free.
If the lens assembly has never been removed, it may initially require some force for it to turn.

Remove the old lens and replace it with the new lens.
