  With your fingers, pry apart the back casing of the audio adapter.
  
  A lot of force is required, so do not be afraid to pull hard.

  Remove the three black T4 4.9mm screws from around the outside on the back of the audio adapter.
  
  Loosen the two silver T5 screws as much as possible.
  
  These two silver screws do not detach from the audio adapter.
