Macbook Pro Studying Disaster--Resolved!

Studying hard. Left macbook pro on arm of couch (knowing I shouldn't, but did it anyway) in order to grab my 50lb textbook which was a few feet out of arms reach. Falling macbook pro (~1 year old). Cracked screen. Rainbow coloured wonders with horizontal lines.

Excellent. ifixit screens were out of stock when I needed mine, but I ordered the handy screwdrivers from here and bought a screen elsewhere. The guide for the replacement was perfect. Straightforward, great pictures. Successful repair. Macbook is like new! Thanks, ifixit.

Follow ifixit guides and you should be good to go! Hardest parts were reconnecting three cables to airport board and reseating the display connector tab. But a little patience and steady hands did the trick.
