Background
The Beyerdynamic Aventho 300 is a wireless over-ear closed-back ANC headset, released in 2024. The headset has won the Red Dot design award 2025.
The Aventho 300 uses Stellar.45 drivers reproducing frequencies from 5 Hz up to 22 kHz. The headset uses Bluetooth 5.4 with support for multiple codex including AptX Lossless, and can also be driven through USB-C and a 3.5 mm jack. The Aventho 300 has active noise cancellation, using six MEMS microphones.
The battery in the headset is user-replaceable, with instructions in the included battery removal guide. Beyerdynamic claims a battery life up to 50 hours with ANC enabled, but testing shows the headset last even longer than that.
The Aventho 300 has a V shaped tuning, with good spatial audio.
