I have gone a step further to disconnect the cable connecting the camera to the motherboard. Now at anytime I can demonstrate not only is the camera painted over, but the info app says "no camera is installed".
I removed the drivers using "iSightdisabler version 5", and covered the lens with grey colored paint. Problem solved! http://techslaves.org/isight-disabler/
