I had Chromebook Chrome OS not installed or corrupted message and no matter how many times I tried to re-install it just did not work. I was told by Chrome expert calling their help line my hard drive probably toast. So while I was looking for new hard drive found article by Acer talking about the C710 which I have about the connecting ribbon on hard drive Coming loose (COMMON) on this problem. I removed back cover took ribbon all the way out and reseated and it fixed it! Here is article hope it helps someone else!
