It may, but it is doubtful. It would have to have all the same futures (same steering wheel controls, etc.) You would be better off buying the specific model wire harness from a dealer like Crutchfield. Also, Crutchfield support is amazing! They would probably be able to tell you if the connections would work on another ford radio.
You can likely find a fuse to pull for your security system, but if it is factory, you will most likely disable power locks as well. I’d look at your fuse box and see what you might find there.
Smart not to power it on! If you have the ability, I would recommend a full tear down of the computer and to let it sit and dry for a few days. Water in itself is not too dangerous to computers, it is the sitting water on electrical components that causes corrosion, and that is what is dangerous. If you open it up, pat dry everything, and allow it to air dry for a few days, you should be all set.
I’m not sure if it is necessary for it to function, but if you are worried, I would purchase some copper tape and just create your own contacts. If the product is reputable I wouldn’t be too worried about it, but I also don’t think it’d hurt to add your own copper strips! Best of luck!
I have had much luck running “pixel correction” videos on computers with bad pixels. I know this may be what Larry was referring to, but you can find ones of these videos on you tube. I’ve successfully brought back to life many screens this way, it may take days of video correction, but it may help.
Your best bet is to fully disassemble the machine, let it dry fully, clean any corrosion with rubbing alcohol. Then you’ll want to replace the keyboard, unfortunately you will have to do a full keyboard replacement, and it will take some time and patients. MacBook Air 11" Mid 2012 Upper Case Replacement Start with the above guide, you will then want to continue on and peal back the black backlight, and then will need to remove about 100 tiny screws to swap your keyboard. This MAY help solve your problem, but no guarantee.
Install the program “Apple Configurator 2” to your Mac, see if this program will detect your device. If so, select the device, go to actions, and restore the iPad. I have had great success for mobile devices and tablets with Apple Configurator 2, while iTunes barely sometimes works. Its worth a shot! Good luck.
I had a similar problem on the same model vehicle. I ended up switching out the gear shiftier assembly with a used one and it worked again. Not sure how much help that was, but figure id share my success. Good luck!
This sounds like a hardware problem for sure. So no, its not likely that a restore will do anything for your device. If you have not dropped or damaged the device at all apple may replace it for free. But it sounds as if the LCD screen has gone bad and needs to be replaced. I'd check with apple first, and if they don't do it for free or cheap find someone reputable that will. Or do it yourself with an iFixit Guide! iPhone 7 스크린 교체 Hope that helps!
