Your camera may not have the correct software to connect to your computer, i always use camera's that come with a downloadable software setup so u can connect your phone to your computer even if u have the wrong software on the computer itself.
I don't believe u can fix your screen but u can prevent any further damage by placing a brand new screen protector on it, if any water gets into the cracks the glass will begin to separate from each other and the glass will begin to come off. I hope i was helpful, just let me know if i was!!!
