Dlem, I believe you need one of the screws to be grounded to the case. But I might be wrong about that. But since the nano had a wash I would say try replacing the digitizer/LCD. But if you don't want to throw money into it, just part it out you might recover half of the money back. Hope that helps. Good luck with that.

더 읽어보기If the new lvd cable works fine and the display works great then it sound like the ribbon isn't connecting to the logic board. Clean the connector on the logic board and then ribbon. Use a mixture of 60% alcohol and 40% water. Use a q-tip to clean the connectors but before that use a toothbrush or something similar that won't damage the logic board and brush the connector on the logic board side. Then clean it with Q-tip(make sure the Q-tip isn't soak en water). Let it dry for about 30 minutes. Make sure that you push the ribbon all the way in and then push the lock down. Also check on the logic board connector the pin to make sure they're straight and not touching. I recommend to reset PRAM and SMC too. Here's a link for that: http://allnewmac.wordpress.com/2009/06/2...-to-reset-pram-and-smcpmu/ Hope that helps. Good luck with that.
더 읽어보기Sounds like your PRAM or SMC. Try resetting the PRAM. I found this link at could guide on the PRAM setting and SMC. http://allnewmac.wordpress.com/2009/06/2...-to-reset-pram-and-smcpmu/ PRAM resetting: To reset the PRAM, reboot the computer and hold the options-command-P-R keys at the same time. The computer will chime, and then continually reset and chime while these keys are held. Allow it to cycle a couple of times and release the keys and allow the computer to boot normally. SMC resetting: Note: Portable computers that have a battery you should not remove on your own include MBP (Early 2009) and later, all models of MBA, and MB (Late 2009). 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected. 3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. 4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time. 5. Press the power button to turn on the computer....
더 읽어보기Have you try rebooting the nano? Hold down Volume down button and the sleep button until it reboots. I would give a try connected to the Mac or PC. Hope that helps. Good luck with that.
더 읽어보기I've seen it done but don't recommended. Reason why they don't just sell the digitizer(the glass). But yes it only adhesive that you have to remove carefully. If your removing a digitizer from a defect, water damage LCD make sure that the ribbon isn't damage or burned at the ribbons ends. If they're good, then remove the adhesive carefully, do not damage the bottom of the digitizer(there's an invisible web to the naked eye). When removing the adhesive, I recommend not to remove all the adhesive from the glass. Why because your going to compress it together and you need to know if your mounting it correct. Forgot to mention use a x-acto blade #11. Hope that helps. Good luck with that. But if anyone know where just to get the digitizer(the glass). Let us know.
더 읽어보기Contact cement or double sided tape will work. Just make sure that it's Scotch 3M. If you apply Contact cement, use a 1mm fine brush like the children water color brushes and apply it to both sides(the housing and the glass). Let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes then apply them together and after let it cure for at least 2 hours. But before all that make sure you clean the housing and the glass with 60%-alcohol, 40%-water mixture. Now the double side option is a little tricky but a quicker insulation. You'll need a x-acto blade 11(make sure it's a new blade) and a double sided tape roll. Clean the housing and the glass with 60%-alcohol, 40%-water mixture. Use a Q-tip to clean them. Roll the tape around the inner housing, with the x-acto blade trim out the extra tape from the edges but be-careful that you don't damage any wires, ribbons, etc,. Once you done then apply them together. The good thing about using Scotch 3M tape and contact cement is that its identical to original adhesive used. Well hope that...
더 읽어보기Well give us a little bit of a background on your nano. Any type of drops, liquid spills? It could be a few thing or just needs to be reboot.
