You don’t need an exact replacement.  You can plug in an HD monitor in the hdmi port and if the old screen is completely disconnected (just cut the ribbon cable with power off) and the sony vaio will see the hdmi screen as its main screen.  Here is my web page on this topic:  https://egpreston.com/sonyvaio.pdf
