Marlene, Simply replace the computer, which is called the ECU, with THIS PART It's priced at $69 and there is a best offer. No need to rebuild the computer. If there is no change, you can sell your old ECU or the new one you got and recover some of the cost. If you wish to replace fuel system parts, you can replace the injectors, injector resister, wiring harness, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filters and the fuel pump. However if the Honda shop diagnosed the ECU as a failure, then replace that first. Additionally, if one cylinder is not firing, change the injector from that cylinder to another cylinder that is working and see if the problem moves. If it does, you have a bad injector. If not, possible a wiring connection. At any rate, replace the spark plugs and plug wires to see if that "wakes up" that cylinder. It sounds to me like a full tune up will take care of this problem. However, it may take some patience to sort it all out. Good luck, let us know Frank

Marlene, Change the spark plugs, change the plug wires. If there is fuel getting to the other three injectors, perhaps you have a bad injector so you can remove and clean or change that. Start with the inexpensive stuff and work your way out to the more expensive. I'll bet you can find a used ECM on ebay or at a local junk yard for under $80. Just to add to this, I was right about ebay. Here is an ECU for$69 or best offer and there are plenty more where that came from. The location of the ECM/PCM is in the center console, under the radio. Costiellio, General information will likely be answered in a general way. Therefore, if you blew a fuse and it will not start, replace the blow fuse and it may start. If you blow the same fuse again, you have a problem with a high amp draw from something. Perhaps it is the starter motor. If the starter blows a fuse when you are attempting a crank, you can look to you connections. Working out from the starter motor, check all the nuts for tightness on the starter. Check terminal ends of wires for fraying or corrosion and cleanliness. Move to the wires themselves. Perhaps they are frayed or there is a poor ground. Follow wires to ground and up to the battery. Check the battery terminals for cleanliness and check all the major wires on the battery for fraying, corrosion and wear. Replace any wires that look like they need replacing. Clean the terminals with a wire brush or a battery terminal cleaner. Check the starter block for all the same symptoms. If it cranks but will not start, that opens up a whole...

It's probably off track. Here is a long answer about how to repair it: You probably heard a pop or two so you will need to remove the headliner so you can get to the sunroof motor. Open the sunroof a couple of inches if you can. Remove the sun visors,mirror from windshield,the A-piller trim(left & right side), The top bolt from the seat belts,clothes hanger hook thing,Pull the rear inside side panels loose only at the top,the rubber trim gasket from headliner at the sunroof,the 5 plastic push pins on the headliner.When it drops down enough unplug the sunroof switch and the inside dome light.Then remove the headliner from the car. Now you can get down to bussisness. Look at the motor and see that the plastic cog is still installed,mine is red(they sometime come off,,, is what caused it to mess up or loose motor mounting bolts). 3 screws mount the motor, remove those and let the motor hang but check that the C-clip is still on the gear on the back side. Look at the threaded cables,these need to be put back...
